Terms and Conditions of Sale
Supplies and equipment for sale by SWAP are sold AS-IS with no warranty, no guarantee, no returns and no exchanges permitted. All sales are final. SWAP strongly encourages close inspection of the item(s) prior to bidding or purchase.
Property may be removed from the sale process at any time if it is determined to be in the best interest of the University to do so.
Prices for items available for sale will be clearly marked on the item, clearly displayed on signage, or found on a price guide near the item. Items found un-priced on sale days may be priced on-the-spot or removed from the sales floor at the discretion of SWAP employees.
SWAP staff will not lower posted prices by request. Customers who alter, or remove, price stickers or signage will lose their purchasing priviledges.
Items too large for a shopping cart must be removed from the premises through the loading bay. To purchase a large item, SWAP staff will place a HOLD on the item(s) using tape. Once payment has been applied, the customer must place a SOLD tag under the HOLD tape. After that is done, SWAP staff will move the item(s) to the loading bay for pick-up.

•Public Sales – Cash, Personal Check, Business Check, Money Order, Cashier’s Check, Visa, MasterCard
*Note – Exact change required if paying with cash on Mon, Wed, or Thurs.
•UW Departments and State Agencies – MD Account Number, Procurement Card (Visa or MasterCard)
Pick-Up and Delivery
All items must be picked within two business days after purchase unless other arrangements have been made with a SWAP representative. The SWAP loading bay is open Monday through Friday 8am-4pm. The bay closes promptly at 4pm so please arrive early enough so loading can be completed by that time.
SWAP staff are willing to assist with loading of purchases as a courtesy. However, SWAP employees will NOT assist with tying down items to trailers or truck-beds, if the loading is deemed unsafe, or if the item(s) clearly will not fit.
SWAP is not responsible for any damage to purchased items or customer vehicles while moving items or assisting in the loading process.
Purchased items without a SOLD tag, or sold items not picked up within two business days of purchase, may be considered abandoned and placed on the sales floor for resale or disposed of. There are no refunds or exchanges for items resold or disposed of.
